Fête de la Musique is back in Hyderabad, so let’s celebrate it innovatively! 🎶
As part of World Music Day 2023 Alliance Française of Hyderabad and @lamakaan_open_cultural_space are organising a round table discussion bringing together a wide range of Telugu musicians from diverse backgrounds: folk, classical – @theharinirao, @tksisters_saroja_sujatha, rap – @aishan.vali, ghazal – @poorva_guru, bassist and songwriter @saikatbasu_joy, and music scholars – @gautam.pemmaraju discussing patronage, livelihood, and contemporary trends in the musical landscape of both urban and rural Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The discussion will be followed by the performances of the speakers, giving the audience the opportunity to experience diverse music genres on a common platform!
