« 5 – 7 rue Corbeau » by Thomas Pendzel
“5-7 rue Corbeau” is a documentary film taken on the appartment buildings lining the street of Corbeau in Paris. IThese appartments were home to the immigrants from the Belgium, Italy, Eastern Europe, Spain, Portugal, Africa.
Though they looked like any other normal building from the outside, on the inside it was one of the biggest slums in Paris.
In 1998, these appartments were purchased and demolished and the people were brought to the streets. This film brings an outward look on the city, the inhabitants and immigration.
