THE SCHULHOFF TRIO – so named when
three friends from the Royal Conservatoire
in The Hague decided to study Erwin
Schulhoff’s “Divertissement”, which led
them to name the trio in his honour. The
Schulhoff Trio has since then grown to be
one of the finest wind ensembles from The
Netherlands. Their presentations combine
engaging, lively and adventurous
programming. The three of them combine
highly distinctive playing into a unique
ensemble experience. All three musicians
are leading artists in their field and are
soloists in their respective orchestra’s and
have toured the world. The Trio is joined on
this tour by Sergey Smirnov on piano.
