30 architects, 30 projects in Ile-de-France
Exhibition presented by AFH in collaboration with Architecture and Design Foundation
The projects presented in this exhibition exemplifies the shared values of tomorrow’s sustainable urban community: transcending technical and doctrinaire discourse, these projects are above all architectural and urban.
For this reason, these projects address environmental concerns with a global vision that incorporates technical devices in urban context: a crowded city is the basis for an innovative approach where man is no longer a bystander, but the focus of attention. Urban density no longer excludes open spaces and nature; thus buildings become gardens, and their structural limits merge with dynamic diversity. Energetic frugality is of course very current, but it’s not an end in and of itself: rather, energy efficiency inspires cutting-edge architecture that will change our way of life as well as our understanding of the city.
