Défi Inter AF

The Alliance Française network in India joins a worldwide contest “Défi Inter AF” in which the B1+ students of AFs from more than 25 countries face each other in a quiz about French culture -art, gastronomy, history, and language- virtually, but in real time, on Zoom and Kahoot.

Prerequisites for participation

– Currently enrolled in B1, B2, C1 or C2 course at Alliance Française of Hyderabad.
– Age: 16 years or older.
– Registration is strictly on a first-come-first-served basis.

You must have 2 devices connected to the Internet:

– A computer for Zoom video conferencing.
– A smartphone to access and play the actual quiz on Kahoot.

It is a 3 phase contest where,

1) The first phase is the Local Preselection among the participants of each Alliance Française to be held on
Friday, the 6th of August 2021, at 7.00pm. [REGISTRATION ENDS on the 30th of July]

2) The two winners of each Local Preselection go on to the Indian National Final to be held on
Friday, the 1st of October 2021, at 7.00pm where they compete against winners from the other Alliances Françaises in India.

3) The two winners at the National Phase go on to the International Final to be held on
Saturday, the 27th of November, 2021, in which they compete with students from all over the world!

Prizes- The Indian National Final

– The 1st and 2nd place winners win an entry to the International Final + A Touch Screen Tablet.
– The participant ranked 3rd wins a Touch Screen Tablet.
– The participants ranked 4th to the 15th win a curated selection of books.

Grand Prize – The International Final

The top three scorers win a 15-day sojourn (séjour languistique) at the Alliance Française in Rouen, transport and half-board accommodation included.
