Ishmael and Clara have been together for four happy years. Ishmael is a music isntructor and Clara specializes in helping physically handicapped children. One day, Clara discovers that she is pregnant. From then on, the couple’s carefree romance becomes complicated. Ishmael’s Muslim family won’t easily accept his girlfriend. Clara’s Jewish parents, whom she thought open-minded, aren’t ready either to accept a Muslim son-in-law. Soon their happiness turns into a nightmare…
