About St+ Art
The St+Art India foundation is a non-profit organization that works on art projects in public spaces. The aim of the foundation is to make art accessible to a wider audience by taking it out of the conventional gallery space and embedding it within the cities we live in – making art truly democratic and for everyone. Across the past 3 years, the foundation has organised 4 St+art festivals in Delhi and Mumbai, creating iconic landmarks within these cities.

St+art HYD
St+art India is keen to broaden its area of interventions to other significant cities in India such as Hyderabad to further expand the reach of Public Art.
Hyderabad – a historic city with a long heritage which is also the capital of the new state of Telangana is currently building a new identity whichcan further be shaped by adding public contemporary art assets.
St+art Hyderabad foresees 4 main projects: the re-generation of the Makhta boundary walls, the
” I love HYD ” typo sculpture, the art hoardings projects and the participative wall by 10 Telangana’s artists. St+art is going to work on the Necklace Road area aiming to transform a particular portion of this key stretch in an art corridor, regenerating the area facing the lake and make it as an area of interest in the city for contemporary art and culture.

The French artists invited to the festival, Remed, Jean-Luc Feugeas and Alber will contirbute with their site-specific art interventions to the regeneration of Makhta neighborhood.
