Join us for the visual journey bridging Indian and French cultures through the elegance of calligraphy.
Curated by Padmaja Srivastava (@gaiatree_), this exhibition brings together a stunning collection of calligraphic paintings that weave stories of French influence and Indian tradition.
Inspired by French architecture, music, poetry, art, gastronomy, and literature, the artworks beautifully intertwine these elements with Indian scripts — Telugu, Kannada, Gurmukhi, Punjabi, Devanagari (Hindi & Marathi), Tamil, Urdu, and Bengali.
Each piece is a dialogue in script — a symphony of letters that celebrates shared cultural and artistic resonance between India and France.
Inauguration on 31st October, 7 pm at Alliance Française Hyderabad
