It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

( by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

Sabita is an an expressionist artist, so boundaries are blurred between the art she creates and the life she lives, so much so she wonders where one stops and the other begins. She is always inspired by the endless possibilities in an ordinary day, and fascinated with everything one can see, hear, feel, touch, sense and live through this miraculous body.

Her work is a free-flowing celebration of nature within her and all around, of which she is acutely aware as a part as well as the whole.  The artwork she creates at present are expressionist in nature and manifest a reflection of  human relationships and emotions, surrealistic dreams, aspirations and reflection, and also her response to everyday life and happenings.

According to the artist, the deepest of mysteries lie just below the surface of our perception, and her work tries to go beyond the layers to glimpse and explore the amazing reality which connects it all as one. Nature in its incredible, elemental and infinite versatility is the true manifestation of God for Sabita. She creates her artwork around these core values of her life.

Her interests include a deep passion for yoga ,science, trekking, books, theatre ,music ,food , traveling and constantly learning/exploring something new.Needless to say, all this does flow into her art and vice-versa.

Causes she upholds and would like to help work for include Science & Environment, Nature Conservation, Children & Women, Human Rights
