Introducing the 1st Autumn International Music Fest & Masterclasses in Hyderabad, India – collaboration between music educators and performers from India & Europe.

 

Michael Makhal, an internationally known Indian Composer and Conductor, will be launching the 1st Autumn International Music Fest & Masterclasses in Hyderabad with the collaboration of European stalwarts Maestro Alessandro Viale (Concert Pianist & Conductor), Rebecca Raimondi (Violinist) and Urška Horvat (Cellist). The Workshop culminating with a Concert on 28th October at the Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium, the Fest will begin on 23rd October 2018 and go till 28th October 2018 in Hyderabad.

 

On 27th of October, the Fest will present a special performance in collaboration with the Alliance Française of Hyderabad at their auditorium. The performance will mainly focus on the solo repertoire with Pianoforte of the talented young and senior participants of the fest who will be attending from various parts of the country for the masterclasses. ‘The Avant Piano Trio’ of Maestro Viale, Rebecca and Urška will give a performance from their exceptional repertoire for Piano, Violin and Celllo. And, the Indo-European Chamber Orchestra, which is precisely formed with the European Masters, Participants and also, professional performers from Kolkata and Chennai, will present a piece or two as part of the Open Rehearsal to give the audience a taste of what the gala concert will look and sound like at the gala concert in the very next day on 28th Oct at Ravindra Bharathi. The repertoire of the Masterclass Performance will have a line up of celebrated composers from the Baroque period to Classical, Romantic and also, Modern.

 

The city of Hyderabad is going to witness its first International Collaboration on Western Classical and Indian Music – the ‘Indo-European Chamber Orchestra’, which will be blooming in the autumn of October, 2018. We will be having young and advanced musicians attending the Fest from different parts of India, also professional performers from Kolkata and Chennai will be joining us for the Gala Concert. The finely designed repertoire will have celebrated pieces like Chopin’s Romance Piano Concerto, Vivaldi’s Autumn Violin Concerto, Tchaikovsky’s Cantabile for Cello and Strings, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 5 and many more.
