THE PROJECT:
Composed by Valérian MacRabbit and reworked with 6 different teams of musicians and sound engineers (including one for a rock live adaptation due in 2017), the album “The Freak Parade” explores the theme of monstruosity through different shapes, subjects and atmospheres.

The Music Video, named “The Man who became a Rabbit” (feat. Kopney) has been shot in Mattancherry and Fort Kochi with a local team and produced by AEENS.
The Music Video is an Indian version of “Alice in Wonderland” shot by Keralese director Lalkrishnan, who has directed the Music Video for local anthem “Ente Kochi”. MacRabbit is playing all the roles in it, from the Smoking Catterpillar to the Cheshire Cat, stunningly metamorphosed by RG Wayanadan, famous make-up artist in the South Indian Film Industry.

The concept album “The Freak Parade” deals with monsters, fantasmagorical atmospheres both in the songs and the artwork. It has received good reviews by the French medias and is available on all digital platforms, in 100 french and indian partnered libraries and on free download on the official website.

The album is launched along with special programs on indo-french webradio Fr’ondes (frondesradio.com) from Monday, January 8th till Saturday, January 12th, two showcases in Hyderabad and an exhibition around the album’s artwork in Saptaparni Cultural Centre, Hyderabad.
