Flamenco guitar player Serge Lopez and Conductor Nathalie Marin
Serge Lopez: Born in Casablanca (Morocco) in 1950, Serge Lopez spent his Childhood in Toulouse ( South West of France) and lived for some years in Spain. In his music you may find the nuances and flavors of the Mediterranean. As a result of growing up in a musical atmosphere and a Hispanic universe, Serge Lopez is very passionate about guitar.
Natalie Marin: Artistic director and permanent conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador from 2011 to 2013, Nathalie Marin is at the same time developing her international career. In 2014, she has conducted the Symphony Orchestra all over the world ( Argentina, Germany, Kosovo). She is one of the few female director in France.
Enjoy the colours and the very particular sound of flamenco guitar blending beautifully with the sensual music of Debussy, Ravel or Massenet on piano, Serge Lopez fascinated by Spain and Andalusia also makes his own compositions with a repertoire inspired by jazz and flamenco..
