The tightly contested Edition 1 of <<Alors, On Chante!>>, the first of its kind French singing contest for French language students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, presented and piloted by Alliance Française of Hyderabad, reached its culmination with an equally spectacular award ceremony held at Novotel Hyderabad International Convention Centre. The presentation party consisted of M. Thierry Berthelot, Consul General of France in Bangalore, Dr. Samuel Berthet, Director, Alliance Française of Hyderabad, Mr. Alexandre Lebraud, General Manager, Safran Electrical & Power India, Manish Dayya, General Manager, Novotel HICC, Ms. Gayatri Sivapurapu, Industrialisation Manager, Safran Aircraft Engines, Mr. Jaywant Naidu, Musician and EC Member of AF Hyderabad, Mr. Hans van der Sluys, Partner, Scan 360, Mr. Madhava (Mike) Reddy Yatham, Proprietor, Rotomaker Studio and RIFTI, and Mr. Francois Xavier Mortreuil, Attaché for Sciences and Higher Education, South Region. The event compered by Shanthala Veigas, our Culture and Communications Coordinator, saw live performances by the winners with the winners, their parents, representatives of schools, special invitees and dignitaries in attendance. The audience was mesmerised by the talent of our little stars. The first Edition truly proved to be a precursor for greater things to come.

1st place: Hemanjali Karedla, Grade 12, ISH . She also received the award for the Best Performer of Edition 1 of <<Alors, On Chante!>> for which she received a professional studio video shoot of her performance from Rotomaker Studio.
