Claude Monet Workshop

Claude Monet (1840–1926) was a French painter and a founder of the Impressionist movement, which emphasized capturing light, color, and atmosphere over fine detail. Known for his loose brushwork and vibrant palette, Monet often painted the same subject at different times of day to show changing light, as in his series Water Lilies, Haystacks, and Rouen Cathedral. His garden in Giverny became one of his most famous subjects, inspiring many of his late works. Monet’s innovative approach helped transform modern art and influenced generations of artists worldwide.
