🌟To celebrate the 127th anniversary of the Lumière brothers’ first projection in India, the emerging short film festival of Lyon – @quedufeu_festival , along with the @onlylyon Ambassadors in India, Alliance Française Hyderabad and Moving Images are organizing a screening of 6 curated short films of the 2023 edition of Lyon Emerging film festival & followed by live discussions with the talented filmmaker.

ℹ️ The Que du Feu festival promotes emerging cinematic talent with short films, encouraging artistic experimentation and a diversity of voices. From socially relevant stories to avant-garde aesthetics, it offers a rich cinematic experience for all.

The application process for 9th edition of the festival 2024 is as follows :
Submissions now open until 14th of July 2024.
Submission fees: until 30th of May 2024: €5 (around INR 445) after €7 (around INR 623).
Maximum duration: 40 mins, 0 second (including credits).
Language: If not in English or in French, English or French subtitles required.
Production date must be after 1st of January 2023.
One submission per director is allowed in only one of the below categories:
– School movie « Courts d’Ecole »: if this is your 1st cinema or audiovisual school movie.
– Short Cuts « Courts Circuits »: if this is your 1st self-produced movie.
– 1st time « Premieres fois »: if this is your 1st professional production.
