Fête de la Musique is back in Hyderabad, so let’s celebrate it innovatively! 🎶
As part of World Music Day 2023 Alliance Française of Hyderabad and Lamakaan are organising a round table discussion bringing together a wide range of Telugu musicians from diverse backgrounds: folk – Marsukola Kalavathi, classical – Harini Rao, TK Sisters, rap – Aishan Vali, ghazal – Poorva Guru, bassist and songwriter – Saikat Basu, and music scholars – Gautam Pemmaraju discussing patronage, livelihood, and contemporary trends in the musical landscape of both urban and rural Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The discussion will be followed by the performances of the speakers, giving the audience the opportunity to experience diverse music genres on a common platform!
