A maiden solo Art Exhibition by Ms. Vasudha Muralikrishna of Campus France India, will be going on from Friday, 29th June to Sunday 15 July at  Alliance Française Gallery, Banjara Hills,  from 9.30am to 8pm.  Open on all days.

 About the Artist

Vasudha is a contemporary realist who embraces abstract forms of art through her simplicity – simplicity of thought and simplicity of expression. While balancing use of colours, lines and shapes, she depicts the vastness and depth of the human mind by eliminating complexity. Often, she communicates directly, in a way that bridges the gap between abstract expressionism and minimalism.

As an artist who believes in being free from the bondage of subject matter, Vasudha engages in new ways to depict on canvas the images that she sees in her mind and the way she sees our world – with almost childlike innocence and, simultaneously, highly evolved spiritualism.

Vasudha is the Manager of Campus France since 2009, handling the Hyderabad Desk. She is deeply into counselling and enhancing the study abroad opportunities in France. With her daily interaction with young people she is inspired and motivated to stay in touch with the dreams of others and reality of her own which comes out in her paintings.

She has a Diploma in Secretarial Practice from Karnataka State Technical Board and Degree in Commerce from KSOU. Though no formal education in arts, it has been in her blood and as a teenager she had stopped using colours and after a gap of 26 years she has embraced them with gusto and going miles!
