Cloclo (2012)

by Florent SIRI

A biopic of French pop star Claude Francois, most famous for co-writing the song ‘My Way’. Tracing his life from childhood in Egypt through success in France to his untimely death in Paris in 1978.
It is the tragic fate of an icon of French music who died at the age of 39, and continues to fascinate more than thirty years after his death. Adulated star and business man, beast on the stage and pro of the marketing before everyone, tube machine and boss of press, but also father and womanizer..
Cloclo is the portrait of a complex man; always in a hurry, profoundly modern and ready to do anything to be loved.
