The film records the 2003 education/ out-reach project undertaken by Rattle and the Orchestra to make their work more accessible. It involves 250 young people from 25 nations drawn from some of Berlin’s most disadvantaged neighbourhoods, who collaborate with the Orchestra to create a dance spectacle based on Igor Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring”.
